TJ Chrastil was born and raised in the Lincoln area, graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School. He served his country by joining the Army National Guard at the age of 17 and served honorably for 9 years, with one tour to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom II, as a Recovery Vehicle Operator.

After his discharge, TJ became an Investigative Reporter and received multiple awards from the Nebraska Press Association. As a corporate journalist, he travelled throughout the country writing newsletters for our nation’s major railroad companies.

He furthered his skillset and knowledge by completing a five-year apprenticeship with the Steamfitter’s Local Union 464, receiving his Journeyman Steamfitter’s license from the City of Omaha; this taught him to troubleshoot, layout, and weld piping systems for commercial and industrial heating and cooling applications.

TJ’s most important job is that of a father. He has three children; a son and two daughters.

Now, as a second-generation Realtor with Nebraska Realty, TJ brings his knowledge and expertise to the Real Estate field; specializing in helping Veterans use their benefits to find a place they can call home.
